Sunday Morning Worship Service
Upon arrival, congregants will be able to access the inside of the building through the front
entrance of the church as well as the the side entrance facing parsonage, side entrance facing fellowship hall, and the rear entrance at the sidewalk. As they enter, they will be greeted with a a bulletin along with an insert for sermon notes. At 9:45am all doors except the front entrance are locked.
Children under the age of 4 (or not potty trained) are welcome in the nursery which is staffed by two background-checked caregivers. The nursery is located just inside the front doors.
The worship service will be around 90 minutes and include 4-5 songs, scripture reading,
sermon, children’s message, and prayer requests. The congregation will be encouraged to worship by standing and singing if comfortable doing so.
After the children's message all children from pre-k (and potty trained) through 5th grade are dismissed for a lesson, craft, and sometimes a game and snack planned just for this age group.
After the service has concluded, the congregation is able to exit through any of the doors, including the front door in the sanctuary.
Our congregation is very diverse when it comes to clothing attire. You will see some dressed business casual, while others will wear shorts, sandals, and a t-shirt. If you'd like to dress up or dress more casual, you will not be out of place.
You can expect our 9:30 a.m. service to be completed between 10:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on average. Sometimes we have special additions to the service that may cause the service to go little longer.
Yes, we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion the first Sunday of the month. The pastor will walk us through the process of preparing for communion at the conclusion of the sermon. We have an open table, so all are welcome to come to the table and receive the grace of God whether you are a member of our church or not. We also have gluten free options during for Communion for those who need it.
